The tip of the PRObe is not sharp so it can be carried in a pocket without a sheath.
The optional strap and shock-cord tether aids sub-second extraction, deployment and retention.
When using the PRObe with the optional strap it should sit firmly in the palm of your hand with the smooth side of the strap facing inwards.
The strap will be installed for right-handed carry. For left-handed carry remove and reverse the strap.
To use the PRObe with the optional shock-cord tether, first hold the PRObe in the palm of your hand with your thumb over the end cap.
Then place the shock-cord tether over the top of your fingers. Pull the shock-cord over the pointed end to secure.
You can now open and close your hand whilst retaining the position of the PRObe so it is ready to use.
