Hybrid Technora® (HBT) EUAS II Bracelet 715

This design was developed for the rapid deployment of our SERE (Survive - Escape - Resist - Evade) Black Ops Bracelets.
With our End User Adjustment System there is no requirement for individual wrist sizes.
Self adjust for a real custom fit - not too tight and not too loose!

Constructed using a Mil Spec (Mil-C-5040) lightweight nylon kernmantle sheath originally used in the suspension lines of parachutes.
This cord is abrasion resistant due to the high number of interwoven strands for its size giving it a relatively smooth texture.
Also available with a GSA Compliant Type III Outer Cord Sheath.
This inner core of this bracelet is Technora®, an Aramid fiber* very similar to Kevlar® that is also useful
for a variety of applications that require high strength or chemical resistance.

Technora® is the brandname of the company Teijin.

- Fatigue Resistance: It has slightly higher resistance to flex fatigue than Kevlar® and
shows little loss of strength even during repeated abrasion, flexing and stretching.
- High Tensile Strength: Strong and light, weight for weight, Technora®. is 8 times
stronger than steel and 3 times stronger than fiberglass, polyester or nylon yarns.
- UV Resistant: Enhanced by dying the naturally gold fiber black.
- Chemical Resistant: Highly resistant to acids, alkalis and organic solvents; not vulnerable to damage caused by steam or sea water.
- Heat Resistant: Thermal decomposition threshold of 500°C, so Technora can be used at 200°C for long periods.
At 250°C, it maintains more than half of its room-temperature tensile strength.

*Aramid fibers are a class of heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibers.
They are used in aerospace and military applications, for ballistic rated body armor fabric and ballistic composites, in bicycle tyres,
and as an asbestos substitute. The name is a portmanteau of aromatic polyamide.
They are fibers in which the chain molecules are highly oriented along the fiber axis, so the strength of the chemical bond can be exploited.

*MARPAT - short for MARine PATtern is a digital camouflage pattern in use with the United States Marine Corps,
introduced with the Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform (MCCUU), which replaced the Camouflage Utility Uniform.
The pattern is formed by a number of small rectangular pixels of color. In theory, it is a far more effective camouflage
than standard uniform patterns because it mimics the dappled textures and rough boundaries found in natural settings.
This is caused by how the human eye interacts with pixelated images.
It is also known as the "digital pattern" or "digi-cammies" because of its micropattern (pixels) rather than the old macropattern (big blobs).

Our 11.1mm Side Release Buckles are made from Acetal, or Delrin as its known under DuPont, it is classed as food safe material.
So no nasty chemicals will leach from this to your skin.
Unlike cheaper plastic fittings that may hide BPA (Bisphenol A) which is getting alot of peoples attention now.

The contoured (or curved) buckles follow the natural curve around the wrist or ankle/.
Giving it a sleek and low profile, not just a square buckle that points out at both ends, catching on everything you walk by.
Undoing it is simple by just squeezing in on the v-Lock in the middle and sliding it apart.

The Acetal is rigid and won't gain a memory of shape, so you can always count on a firm fit and snug closure everytime.
These are made "beefier" than other clips when it comes to the thickness of the material itself.
Taking more punishment from sudden tugs should you catch it on something (try pulling them apart!).
It won't just snap or crack at the connection points which alot of the "economy" clips will do.

The raised area on the front of the side release buckle protects the 6mm SOLAS Reflective Dot.

This bracelet can be worn reversed so the compass is on the outside
for navigating with the back-up BCB Button Compass
